God has chosen us personally to be the dwelling place of His presence:

1 Cor 6:19-20 - its really verse 12-20 but here is the culmination

19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20For you have been bought with a price:therefore glorify God in your body.

God has chosen us CORPORATELY to be the dwelling place of His presence:

Eph 2:21-22 - As we live together in community built together in unity we BECOME A HOUSE a dwelling place for the Spirit of God on the earth

"21in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God bye the Spirit."

The Priority of His Presence:

We will be a people who choose the presence of God - The presence of God must be center stage!

Exodus 33:14-16

14And He said, "My presence shall go [with you], and I will give you rest." 15Then he said to Him, "If Your presence does not go [with us], do not lead us up from here. 16"For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the [other] peoplewho are upon the face of the earth?"

Psalm 27:4

4One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORDAnd to meditate in His temple.

Luke 10:42

38Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. 39She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord's feet, listening to His word. 40But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up [to Him] and said, "Lord, do You not carethat my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me." 41But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; 42but [only] one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her."
